I am Raja Zahid Ali Khan (Raja) from the beautiful Kashmir Valley. I chose North Knoxville Medical Center because its geographic resemblance to my home region immediately made me feel at home. What truly solidified my decision was the open house event where the interactions with the faculty were nothing short of extraordinary. They were incredibly welcoming, creating an environment that felt as if they were eagerly awaiting our arrival to start residency.
My primary interest lies in cardiology, with a special focus on interventional and structural cardiology. During my residency, my goal is to master internal medicine, absorb as much knowledge as possible, and serve the community with dedication and compassion. Beyond my professional aspirations, I have a passion for traveling, exploring nature, and immersing myself in different cultures. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family, engaging in various sports activities that bring us closer together.
